Today: Learn how to get in the mindset.
Writing every day isn't easy. Plus, you have other responsibilities that split your focus. Here are some ways to get in the mindset of a content creator.
A Good Place
Some people work well in offices. Others love coffee shops. With remote work growing in popularity, it's common to not work in an office.
Find a quiet area in your favorite coffee shop or work location and bang out those posts. Remember to keep a doc of ideas so you can write multiple posts at once and have a head start.
A Good Drink
Coffee? Tea? Soda? Water? Wine? No judgment here. Some of the best posts have been written with a glass in the belly. A warm drink can work wonders in stimulating the creative part of your brain.
A Good Time
People who wake up early shake their heads at late-night workers. But they're both getting stuff done. Find the ideal time when your mind, and house, is quiet.
Many people like working on posts in the early morning. Free from distractions and full of creative energy, the mornings are yours. Own the morning. Own the day.
A Good Goal
Make the commitment. If you have something you're working towards, it's far easier to sit down and get the writing done. Keep a calendar on your desk with the goal in site. Or, keep a Post-It note nearby and scribble down what you're working towards.
Consistency works.
